STEP International is in the process of receiving membership of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. ECFA enhances trust in Christ-centered churches and ministries by establishing and applying Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship™ to accredited organizations.

STEP International is a member of Religious Liberty Partnership (RLP). RLP is to encourage and nurture partnering and collaboration among Christian organizations focused on religious liberty. The RLP seeks to work more intentionally together in addressing advocacy, assistance, research, and in raising the awareness of religious restrictions globally.

We strive to comply with Internal Revenue Service (USA) and Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) rules and partners in the filed countries are held accountable by STEP International for financial integrity. In keeping with IRS and CRA rules, we exercise a level of direction and control over all of our partners. Each of our employees and partners in South Asia agree with our doctrine statement and guidelines as stated in our policy manual.
